Lights or Seacrest Out
$5 says you can do most of your household routines with the lights off. I leave lights off by habit now (the inverse of what has become the normal habit of the modern world) and I’m occasionally surprised at how well the brain can perform tasks based on very few sensory cues. I say occasionally because most of the time I’m not even paying attention. The brain has amazing spacial memory. It can successfully reach for a number of objects in the dark without any perceived effort. I don’t think about the activity, or where objects are. I just do something as mindlessly as I would if the lights were on. Try it!
