Experiment 1

Think you know your body? Sit down with your legs in front of you.  Look at your right foot and wiggle your toes.  Good?  Okay, now try to move just your littlest toe all by itself, then your biggest.  Try to move them independently like you would your fingers.  Now try it with your left foot.  Report your observations.  Here are mine:

On my right foot, I can move my big toe and little toe independently without any effort.  But on my left foot, I have to concentrate (or maybe I have to NOT focus) on moving my big toe independently of my little toe.
