Let’s Make A Deal

Several years ago, I started trading in large portions of my CD collection for Amoeba credit.  I’d trade back and forth on $300 to $400 of credit at a time.  This was fine for year and half or so, but then I started listening to music less, and hauling large bags of CDs in became a chore.  On the last trip a few years ago, I traded everything but a few bags worth for cash.  On Monday, I’m taking those last remaining bags in.  I’m keeping 10 Cds or so, mostly because their cases are broken, somely because I went through a lot of trouble to get them and feel I shouldn’t give them up so easily.

Because I don’t want to get more CDs, trading for store credit doesn’t make sense for me.  Since they give you more credit than cash, I’d be willing to take store credit and sell it to someone for a fair price, so that everybody wins.  Or, if we’re friends, and you still shop there, and you’re nice to me and buy me lunch or we deal or something, then I’ll just give it to you.

Thoughts?
